Hi i’m Leia, an illustrator based in Queens, New York.
I grew up in a small beach town, Rockaway Beach, about an hour outside the city. When I was little, my parents let me freely cover the floors and walls of our home with drawings, and I fell in love with art before I even knew what it was.
Much of my work is inspired by my childhood by the ocean, where nature quickly became a second home and a place of comfort.
Today, my illustrations are influenced by that nostalgia, and the carefree and lighthearted whimsicality of childhood wonder.
Through my art, I hope to share that same sense of nostalgia, curiosity, and wonder with others!
